Indicator 13 or 14 blinking:
The instrument is trying to connect to report new data (13),
or to send an email alert (14).
•
Indicators 9 and 10 Active:
The instrument is connected to a Router or Access Point. In
this case the SSID of the Router or Access Point is written in indicator 6, and the IP address of
the instrument is written in indicator 7.
•
Indicators 9, 10, 11 Active:
The instrument is on the network.
•
Indicators 8 to 13 Active:
The instrument has connected to the server and is talking to
the
Instrument_Listener
application, or to
Convergence Instrument’s
cloud servers. In that
case the server’s IP address is written in indicator 12.
7.6.2
Cloud Setup
When using cloud reporting, the instrument must be configured, activated and deactivated using that
Cloud-Setup
function. In addition to simplifying the configuration process, it insures that there is no
discrepancy between the internal configuration of the instrument and the
Cloud
database.
When the instrument is used on the cloud, the normal
WiFi-Setup
,
Email-Setup
and
Disable-All
functions of the
Instrument Manager
should not be used.
In addition, recording should never be started using the manual recording button. The cloud server will
manage the instrument completely, including adjusting its time, erasing memory and starting the
recording. All that is required is preparing the instrument settings in the instrument’s web page (see
below), and setting up its connection parameters.
1. Press the
Cloud-Setup
button (1), the panel below is presented. Enter the account user name.
This is the name of the account that must have been previously created in the cloud service.
