Problem

Check/Cause/Remedy

Air conditioner does not operate

Is the air conditioner plugged in?

Is there a power failure?

FL error code fl ashing. Refer below.

Is the room temperature below the set temperature?

Ambient temperature is too high or too low. It is recommended 
to use this air-conditioner between ambient temperatures of 
10°C to 35°C.

The air conditioner has little 
effect

Ensure that the room being cooled is not too large for the 
stated capacity of the air conditioner.

Is there direct sunshine? Remember to close curtains or 
blinds.

More people in the room will generate more heat

Is there something in the room producing excessive heat?

Are windows or doors open?

Is the exhaust fi tted correctly or obstructed? All exhaust air 
needs to be completely removed from the room.

The air conditioner is not as cool 
as it once was.

Are the air fi lters dusty or dirty, restricting the airfl ow?

Is the air inlet or outlet blocked.

Is the room temperature below the set temperature

The air conditioner is too noisy

Is the air conditioner positioned unevenly?

Is the fl oor beneath the air conditioner uneven.

The remote control does not 
work

Is there anything obstructing the remote signal receiver? 
Ensure to aim the remote at the air conditioner. Ensure you 
are with the remote controls range.

Replace batteries.

The compressor will not turn.

It is possible that the overheat protection for the compressor is 
on. Wait for it to reset.

Note: When changing between different modes (cooling to fan 
or dry mode etc.) the compressor will turn off. A 3 minute delay 
will occur before the compressor will turn on again.

E1 error code

Coil temperature sensor error. Disconnect the air conditioner 
and reconnect. If error repeats, call a service agent. 

E2 error code

Room temperature sensor error. Disconnect the air conditioner 
and reconnect. If error repeats, call for a service agent.

E4 error code

Anti-freeze protection is active. This occurs when the coil 
temperatures get too low. Operation will begin again once the 
coil temperatures rise. 

FL error code

Water tank is full. The WATER-FULL indicator will also be 
active. Drain the air conditioner as shown in Maintenance 
section. 

        Never try to dismantle the air conditioner yourself.

In case of problems that cannot be resolved using the above guide, or if service on your 
dehumidifi er is required, please contact your dealer or designated service agent.
