FIG. 27: ORANGE LEDS FOR ALIGNMENT
Test:
Yellow when intrusion simulation is active
Off when there is no intrusion simulation
Alignment:
Steady orange when the lowest beam is not aligned
Quick blinking orange when the lowest beam is
aligned
Slow blinking orange when at least 6 beams are
aligned
Off when screen is fully aligned
Power:
Green when power is ON
Alignment is achieved in three steps. During this process, please en-
sure that the green “Power” LED on the receiver remains on:
1. Fix one unit in its final position and place the other in such a way that
the sender’s orange LED (alignment) blinks rapidly. This indicates
alignment of, at minimum, the bottom beam and, at maximum, 6
beams (those nearest to the display).
2. Rotate or slightly tilt the mobile unit until the orange LED blinks
slowly. This means that between 7 and n-1 of the lowest beams are
aligned.
3. Slightly adjust the position of the loose unit until the orange align-
ment LED goes off and the OSSD1 and OSSD2 LEDs turn green
on the receiver. The barrier is now properly aligned. Tighten the
mounting screws on both units.
TEST BEFORE THE FIRST COMMISSIONING
Before connecting OSSD1 and OSSD2 to the machine control, per-
form the “Daily functional test” as described in chapter “Testing and
maintenance” below. This final test ensures that the protective device
is operating properly.
