To eliminate the possibility of optical crosstalk, units shall be separated
by an opaque shield (Fig. 15).
When using an L-shaped installation, the units must be positioned in
such a way that the beams run in opposite directions and the top of the
units touch (Fig. 16).
MECHANICAL INSTALLATION
The sender and receiver units must be mounted with their optical pan-
els accurately facing each other. The distance between the two optical
faces must be within the specified operating range of the model.
The appropriate mounting devices must be used to fix the units. De-
pending on the application and the available space, two different
mounting options are available:
