Verify correct scanner installation
1. Locate the scanner icon
on the Windows System Tray. This is the WIDEsystem
program icon.
2. Double-left-click on the WIDEsystem program icon
.
3. Your scanner is installed and detected correctly if your scanner’s name appears at
the top of the WIDEsystem Status tab dialog.
4. If the scanner was not installed correctly, a message will inform you that your
scanner could not be detected. If this is the case turn off power to all connected
devices and repeat the installation steps.
Install scan or copy software (optional)
Install the scan and copy software you will use with the scanner. There are many
different scan and copy applications designed to run with your scanner and take
advantage of its many features. Read more in
