CPU Installation
The product supports a single Intel Celeron M or Pentium M processor (FSB 400MHz). The CPU’s VID
pins automatically program the voltage regulator on the CPU board to the required CPU voltage. The host
bus speed is automatically selected. The CPU connects to the CPU board through the 478-pins socket
(socket-478).
The socket-478 comes with a turn lock to secure the CPU. Make sure the notch on the corner of the CPU
corresponds with the notch on the inside of the socket.
After you have installed the CPU into the socket-478, the Heat Sink is attached on the CPU. The CPU
should always have a Heat Sink (and a cooling fan) attached to prevent overheating.
Refer to the description of optional CPU appending for attachment of the Heat Sink.
CAUTION
Ensure that the CPU heat sink and the CPU top surface are in total contact to avoid CPU overheating
problem that would cause your system to hang or be unstable.
Main Memory Installation: DIMM1
The product supports one single-side or double-sided DDR200/266/333 unregistered 184-pin DIMM
sockets for a maximum memory of 1GB.
The CPU board supports the following memory features:
- 184-pin DIMM with gold-plated contacts
- 200MHz, 266MHz and 333 MHz DDR SDRAM. (unregistered)
- ECC function support.
- 2.5V memory only.
- Single or double-sided DIMM in the following sizes:
DDR SDRAM
DDR SDRAM improves memory performance through memory access that is synchronous with the
memory clock.
The CPU card supports single or double-sided DIMM in the following sizes:

CAUTION
All memory components and DIMMs used with the product must comply with the PC SDRAM
Specification. These include: the PC SDRAM Specification *memory component specific), the PC
Unbuffered DIMM Specification, and the PC Serial Presence Detect Specification.
