5. Create a Project
Register the information to be mapped to the CODESYS variables from the Modbus register of the
slave device. Each channel lists one Modbus command.
Here, Modbus register of Slave device is registered as follows:

On the Devices window, double click the Modbus Slave device icon to open Device
Configuration window.

Open [Modbus Slave Channel] tab.

Click [Add Channel] button.
Select [Read Discrete Inputs (Function Code 2)] from Access Type, enter "0" in Offset of READ
Register and "8" in Length, then click [OK].
