Using Sample Programs
Sample programs have been prepared for specific basic applications.
For the API-CNT(WDM), The sample programs are stored in
\Program Files\CONTEC\API-PAC(W32)\CNTWDM\Sample
Use these sample programs as references for program development and operation check.
* When the installation folder is changed, the folder of the sample program is different.
Running a Sample Program
(1) Click on the [Start] button on the Windows taskbar.
(2) For the API-CNT(WDM), from the Start Menu, go to “Programs”, and select the sample program
you wish to launch from the list of “CONTEC API-CNT(WDM)”.
(3) A sample program is invoked.

- Counter Sample [Counter]
Set various counter programs and perform them.
- Counter [Counter] *1
Perform counters by the device containing bus master transfer function which sets the
various settings.
- CounterCallback [CounterCallback] *1
Perform counters by callback.
- Sampling [Sampling] *1
Execute sampling for one transfer.
- Infinite Sampling [Infinite] *1
Execute sampling for infinite transfer.
- Synchronous sampling [Sync] Sync *1*2
Perform synchronous sampling with two devices.
*1: This sample can only be used on devices that are equipped with a bus master transfer function.
*2: This sample can only be used on devices that are equipped with a bus master transfer function and
contain synchronous control connectors.
