10. Maintenance and cleaning
The product is maintenance-free, do not disassemble it!
Only let a specialist or workshop perform repairs on the device, otherwise you may
destroy the product and the license (CE) and warranty lapses.
Prior to cleaning, pull the power pack out of the wall outlet.
Only clean the product with a soft, clean, dry and lint-free cloth. Do not use any detergents, as these
may damage the plastic casing and the lettering.
You can easily remove dust with a clean soft brush and a vacuum cleaner.
11. Disposal
a) General
When the device has become unusable, dispose of it in accordance with the current
statutory regulations.
b) Disposal of batteries/accumulators
You, as the end user, are legally obliged (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries and
accumulators. Disposal in the household waste is prohibited!
Batteries/accumulators containing hazardous substances are marked by the shown
symbols. These symbols also indicate that it is prohibited to dispose of these batteries/
accumulators in the household waste. The heavy metals concerned are: Cd=cadmium,
Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (name indicated on the battery/accumulator e.g. below the
trashcan symbols on the left).
You can hand in your used batteries/accumulators at the official collection points of your
community at no cost, at our outlets or everywhere where batteries/accumulators are
sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
