h) OSD display (“OSD” button)
By pressing the button “OSD”, the screen shows the current parameters (resolution, image refresh
rate, channel number, sleep function). This display disappears automatically after a few seconds.
i) Preview function (“CH VIEW” button)
The button “CH VIEW” activates the so-called preview function. The first nine channels are displayed
as a small image next to and below each other to give you an overview of the current broadcasts.
Pressing the button “CH VIEW” again shows the next 9 stations, etc.
If you want to look at a station, just press the number key that corresponds to the position
of the image (1 to 9) or the station top left = button 1.
j) Recall function (“RCL” button)
If you want to switch back and forth between two stations (e.g. if there are still advertisements shown
on one channel and you do not want to miss the start), entering the station channels via the keypad
or the selection with the CH buttons is very tedious.
With the “RCL” button, you can therefore easily switch between the current and the last channel
selected.
k) Picture-in-picture function (“Picture in Picture”, button “PIP”)
With this function, your can fade in the image of the TV, video or S-video into the PC image.
• First activate the display of your computer image with the “Input” button.
• Press the “PIP” button. The TV image is faded in. Pressing the button “PIP” again, reduces the
displayed image or turns the function off again.
• In order to change the position of the fade-in, use the arrow keys “
”.
This lets you shift the faded-in image to the right, for example.
• Of course, you can also fade in the video or s-video image. To do so, first activate the fade-in by
pressing the “PIP” button as described above. Afterwards select the desired input (TV, CVBS/
video or S-video) with the button “Input” (press repeatedly for switching to the desired input).
