Initial operation
To ensure correct start-up, please read the entire operating instruc-
tions and the safety instructions carefully before using the device.
Check the device for damage before using it for the first time.
Should any damage be noticed, do not start the device; contact a
specialist or our service team.
Installation
The assembly and the installation of the device must be carried
out by a specialist who is familiar with the hazards and the rele-
vant regulations. Maintaining, operating and starting up this pro-
duct must only be carried out by appropriately qualified persons.
While selecting the place of installation for your device, take care
not to expose it to shaking, vibrations, dust, heat, cold or moisture.
In addition, keep the device away from power transformers or
motors.
The device must be mounted out of normal reach.
Illuminated objects and easily inflammable materials such as
decorative fabrics must be at least 50 cm away from the device.
Otherwise, there is a risk of fire.
When installing the product, make sure that the mains cable is not
pinched or damaged by sharp edges.
During installation and service work, the area underneath the place
of installation must be cordoned off.
The installation surface and/or supports must be so dimensioned
that they can support ten times the rated load for at least one hour
without permanent deformation.
It is also essential that the device is secured by means of a
second safety restraint that is independent of the actual mounting
supports. If the main supports fail, no part of the installation
should be able to fall down.
When installing, all relevant regulations for this purpose (in particu-
lar BGV C1, previously VBG 70, and EN 60598-2-17) must be strictly
complied with.
Installation approval
• Before first use and after any significant modifications, the installation (including
the electrical connections) must be checked by a specialist.
• It is necessary to have it checked by experts once a year.
• At least every four years the device should be checked and approved by a specia-
list.

Utilisation
Le fonctionnement de l’appareil n’est admis que lorsqu’il est sur-
veillé et commandé par un utilisateur expérimenté et qualifié.
Allumez le Disco Laser à l’aide de l’inter-
rupteur secteur.
Lancez la lecture musicale de votre
installation audio.
A l’aide du bouton de réglage LEVEL,
réglez la réaction de l’effet laser par rap-
port à la musique.
Manipulation
• Ne procédez jamais à la mise en marche et à l’arrêt de l’effet laser à de courts
intervalles. Ceci réduit considérablement la durée de vie de l’appareil.
• L’appareil n’est pas destiné à un service continu. Faire des pauses permet
d’augmenter sa durée de vie.
• Ne branchez jamais l’appareil directement après l’avoir transporté d’une pièce
froide à une pièce chaude. L’eau de condensation qui se forme alors risquerait de
détruire l’appareil.
Attendez que l’appareil ait atteint la température ambiante avant de le bran-
cher. Attendez que l’eau de condensation se soit évaporée.
• Les fiches de secteur ne doivent jamais être branchées ou débranchées avec les
mains mouillées.

Placez l’interrupteur sur « I ».
Réglez le volume au niveau normal.
Les motifs laser devraient changer au
rythme de la musique.
