Connecting the fader start outputs
Connections FADER CONTROL (41)
Connect the control jacks of the CD-Player here.
Only connect compatible devices here ("American Audio Q
series"). If other devices are connected, both the mixer and the
connected device can be damaged.
Connecting the power supply
The mixer and all connected devices have to be switched off.
Connect the device connection plug of the enclosed mains cable to the mains con-
nection AC INPUT (27).
Put the mains plug of the mixer into a 230V~/50Hz mains socket.

(13) Headphone socket - PHONES
Commercially available headphones are connected to this socket using a 6.4 jack.
The input signals can be pre-heard on the headphones or it is possible to listen into
the output signals. Only use headphones with an impedance of at least 32 Ohm.
(14) Control - CUE LEVEL
The volume of the headphones can be set using this control.
Position "MIN" means minimum volume, position "MAX" means maximum
volume.
Turn the control to the left stop "MIN” before inserting or removing or putting on the
headphones or switching the mixer on or off!
(15) Slide control - PFL/OUTPUT
The signal for play-back over the headphones is set using this control.
Position PFL:
Play-back of the channels which have been selected with the switches PFL (2)
Position OUTPUT:
Play-back of the miser output signal
Central position:
Output signal and PFL signal are mixed

Control - BALANCE 1
This control alters the volume relation between the left and the right channel of the
stereo output signal of MASTER 1.
Turn control to position "L” = right output signal is weakened
Turn control to position "R” = left output signal is weakened
(17) Control - MASTER 2
The level of the output signal (MASTER 2) of the mixer is set using this control.
Position "Min” = minimum level
Position "Max” = maximum level
(18) Control - BALANCE 2
This control alters the volume relation between the left and the right channels of the
stereo output signal of MASTER 2.
Turn control to position "L” = right output signal is weakened
Turn control to position "R” = left output signal is weakened
(19) Mains switch - POWER
The mixer is switched on and off using this switch.
If the mixer is switched on, the LED above the switch will light up.
