Inserting the storage battery
Batteries do not belong in the hands of children.
Observe the right polarity when inserting the batteries.
Leaking or damaged batteries may cause caustic
skin burns. therefore you should always wear suit-
able protective gloves!
Make sure that you do not let the batteries short-cir-
cuit or become thrown into a fire. Do not recharge
the batteries. Danger of explosion!
The device requires a storage battery to secure the time setting in
the event of a power shortage. Please note that in a power outage
the display (2) will switch off to save battery power. The clock con-
tinues to run.
• Disconnect the device from the power supply (pull power plug!).
• Open the cover of the battery compartment (13) on the back side
and insert a 9V block battery with correct polarity into the battery
clip.
• Reclose the cover of the battery compartment (13).
• In the interest of long battery life, only alkaline batteries should be
used.
Power connection
Even when turned off, the device is still connected to
the power supply. The plug must be pulled from the
outlet to fully disconnect the device from power.
• Insert the power plug into a wall outlet.
• Lay the power line so that people cannot trip over it.

• Pour le réveil avec la radio sélectionnez avant l´activation de la
fonction réveil, l´émetteur et le volume souhaités comme il est
décrit sous la rubrique « fonctionnement de la radio ».
• Pour être réveillé avec la sonnerie tournez le régleur VOL/BUZZ
(9) dans la position BUZZ (le régleur s´enclenche).
• Il est possible d´éteindre la fonction sonnerie pendant le réveil en
appuyant sur la touche ALARM (5). La sonnerie sonnera à nou-
veau le lendemain.
• Il est possible d´interrompre la fonction sonnerie pendant le réveil
en appuyant sur la touche SNOOZE (1) (fonction veille). La sonne-
rie recommence à sonner après 9 minutes.
• Pour éteindre complètement la fonction sonnerie mettre l´inter-
rupteur pour les fonctions (15) sur la position OFF.
Minuterie-sommeil
La minuterie-sommeil éteint le réveil radio après un certain temps que
l´on peut régler. Pour cela il faut que l´interrupteur pour les fonctions
(15) se trouve sur la position OFF (pas de fonction réveil pour le pro-
chain jour) ou bien sur AUTO (fonction réveil pour le prochain jour).
• Appuyez sur la touche SLEEP (4). La radio s´allume et s´éteint
après écoulement du temps indiqué sur l´écran d´affichage (2).
• Pour programmer l´heure de sommeil veuillez tenir appuyer la
touche SLEEP (4) et réglez avec les touches HOUR (7) et MINUTE
(8) l´heure souhaitée. Il est possible de programmer des temps à
partir d´une minute jusqu´à une heure 59 minutes.
• Si vous voulez éteindre la minuterie-sommeil avant l´heure pro-
grammée il vous suffit d´appuyer sur la touche SNOOZE (1).
