20. Remote Control Battery Replacement
If the range of the remote control begins to decrease, you will need to change the battery (type: CR2025,
3V/DC).
To ensure proper battery replacement, proceed as follows:
•
Take the remote control and remove the battery compartment as shown in the
figure on the right.
•
Remove the used battery.
•
Place a new CR2025 (3 V/DC) type battery in the correct polarity (plus terminal
must face towards the back of the remote control) in the battery holder.
•
Slide the battery compartment cover carefully back onto the remote control.
21. Maintenance and Cleaning
Switch off the 4 Channel Digital Recorder with the "ON/OFF" switch (25) before you clean the outside of
the housing of the 4 Channel Digital Recorder. Disconnect the mains power supply from the 4 Channel
Digital Recorder. A clean, dry and soft cloth is sufficient to clean the outside of the 4 Channel Digital
Recorder and the remote control.
Apart from the battery replacement as described above, there are no serviceable parts in this product.
22. Disposal
a) General Information
Please dispose of the unserviceable device according to the current statutory requirements.
b) Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
You, as the end customer, are legally obliged (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries and
rechargeable batteries. Disposal in the household waste is prohibited.
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are marked with the follow-
ing symbols, they point out that they are not allowed to be disposed of in the domestic refuse.
The labels for the most important heavy metals are Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
You can dispose of used batteries, rechargeable batteries and button cells free of charge in
community collection containers, our branches or anywhere where they are sold!
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and make your contribution to protecting the environment!
