13.5 "RECORD FRAME" Menu Setting
The "RECORD FRAME" menu option allows the number of frames per second to be selected. The
greater the number of frames per second, the more fluid the playback of the recorded video files will be.
The factory setting is 25 frames per second.
The values which can be selected are: 25, 12, 8, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1
13.6 "RECORD QUALITY" Menu Setting
The "RECORD QUALITY" menu option determines the recording quality.
Three settings are available: HIGH (best quality), NORMAL (average quality), LOW (low quality)
The higher the quality, the greater the level of detail in the recording. However, the higher quality record-
ing requires more disc space than a low quality recording.
☞
The frames per second setting (see Chapter "13.5 "RECORD FRAME" menu setting),
the recording quality and the amount of free disc space on the hard drive determine
the recording time of the video files.
13.7 "SCHEDULE SET" Menu
In the "SCHEDULE SET" submenu you can set a 24 hour timeplan defining at what times a timed
recording should take place, a recording when motion is detected or when no recording should take
place.
