13.8.2 AUTO RECORD
If this option is set to "ON", the 4 Channel Digital Recorder automatically continues the selected timeplan
(see Chapter "13.7 "SCHEDULE SET" Menu) if no entry is made after 5 minutes.
If this option is set to "OFF", no recording will be made until you manually start recording by pressing the
"REC" button (6, 38).
13.8.3 PASSWORD ENABLE
The 4 Channel Digital Recorder has a password protection function. Set this option to "ON" to activate
the password protection function.

If the password protection function is set to "ON", the password is required as soon
as you wish to stop a recording or when you wish to call up the main menu.
Factory password setting (default): Press the "CH1" button (20, 26) 6 times.
13.8.4 CHANGE PASSWORD
This submenu allows you to change the password.
• Enter the current password under "CURRENT PASS-
WORD".
• Enter the desired new password under "NEW PASS-
WORD" (the password must be 6 button presses in
length).
• Repeat the new password under "CONFIRM PASS-
WORD".
Any of the buttons can be used for password entry except
for the unlabelled button on the remote control and the
"MENU" button (17, 29).
