11. Operation
The device is operated by the touch-sensitive LC display.
The respective buttons are activated on the right and lower edges, depending on
the currently possible operating functions. This means that only the buttons that
can currently be used are displayed.
The backlighting is automatically activated if the display is touched; it goes out
after a short time to save power.
a) Setting the Time
• Briefly press the „
“ button. The year flashes. Set it with the buttons „
“ and
„
“.
Hold the button down for quick adjustment. This also applies to the following
setting functions.
• Press the button „
“. The month flashes.
Set the month with the „
“ and „
“ buttons.
• Press the button „
“. The date flashes.
Set the date with the „
“ and „
“ buttons.
• Press the button „
“. The hours of the current time flash.
Set the hours with the „
“ and „
“ buttons.
• Press the button „
“. The minutes of the current time flash.
Set the minutes with the „

“ buttons.
• Press „
“ to return to the settings for the year.
Press „
“ to store the settings. The device leaves the setting mode.
If you do not press any button for an extended period of time, the settings are
stored automatically, and the device leaves the setting mode.
The day of the week (top display line) is automatically calculated from the
information for year, month and day. „1“ stands for Monday, „2“ for Tuesday, „3“
for Wednesday, „4“ for Thursday, „5“ for Friday, „6“ for Saturday and „7“ for
Sunday.
