16. Maintenance and Cleaning
The wristwatch requires no servicing from you, do not ever take it apart, (apart from any necessary replacement of the
battery).
Clean the wristwatch with a soft, clean and dry cloth. Clean the coverglass with extreme care in order to avoid causing
scratches.
In order to ensure optimal function of the UV sensor and a correct display of the UV index, it is essential that
you clean the glass before every measurement, otherwise the measurement may be incorrect due to dirt and
dust.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions which could damage the
housing or even impair operation.
17. Handling
The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children. It contains small swallowable small parts, glass
(display), as well as batteries.
The product may not be opened or disassembled (apart from the battery replacement described in these operating
instructions).
None of the components inside the product is to be maintained by the user. If you open/take apart the device, the license
(CE) and the guarantee/warrantee expires as well.
Do not drop the product even from a low height as this might damage it.
