Every USB mass storage device that is enumerated by the BIOS will have an emulation type setup option. This
option specifies the type of emulation the BIOS has to provide for the device:

‘AUTO’ - Lets the BIOS auto detect the current formatted media.
‘Floppy’ - Emulates the device as a floppy drive.
‘Forced FDD’ - Allows a HDD to be connected as a floppy image.

‘Hard Disk’ - Allows the hard disk to be emulated as a HDD.
‘CD-ROM’ - Assumes the CD-ROM is formatted as a bootable media.

The device’s formatted type and the emulation type provided by the BIOS must match for the device to boot
properly.

The drive must be formatted with FAT12, FAT16 or FAT32.
