CHECKING THE CONTAINER CONTENT LEVEL
If the suction power is lower even though the nozzle is lifted above the floor, empty the container immediately.
NOTE
: If the s
uction power
remains l
ow
after replacing the container, check for the following:
- some of the air passages (hoses, telescopic tube, suction inlet, brush adapter, or other adapters) are
obstructed;
- the motor filter is dirty;
- the air outlet filter is dirty.
Check for each of the possible causes above and eliminate the problem before you start vacuuming. If the
cause of the problem cannot be identified, hand over the product to the nearest service centre. Never use the
vacuum cleaner if the s
uction power
remains l
ow
. The motor could be damaged irreparably
MAINTENANCE
As a preventative measure, we recommend emptying the container and cleaning
the filters of the vacuum cleaner after each use.
EMPTYING THE CONTAINER
1.
Unplug the vacuum cleaner from the mains. Disconnect the hose from the
suction inlet.
2.
Push the latches on the container holder, and shift the container upwards
(Fig. 3).
3.
Press the latch on the bottom of the r
ear
side of the container, open the latch
and empty the contents of the container (see Fig. 4).
4.
Close the container and return it to the vacuum cleaner. Make sure the
container is positioned properly. You should hear a clicking sound from the
handle latches.
REPLACING FILTERS
• The filters should be cleaned or replaced when they are visibly dirty, or if the
appliance‘s suction power is reduced. Always check the filters after using the
appliance.
• In order to avoid damage to the appliance, do not use it with incorrectly installed
filters.
• Before replacing the filters, disconnect the appliance from the electrical socket.
• You can buy suitable types of filters from your dealer, or you can order them
from the manufacturer.
CLEANING THE INLET FILTERS
1.
Disconnect the flexible hose and remove the container.
2.
Open the filter holder on the f
ront
side of the container (Fig. 5) and remove
the filter
(Fig. 6)
.
3.
The foam rubber filter
(Fig. 7)
may be cleaned mechanically by shaking them
and cleaning with a soft brush. Heavily fouled filters can be washed after this
step and cleaned with a soft brush in lukewarm water. Do not use detergents.
It is important to let the wet parts dry thoroughly.
