Notes
:
1
Byte B, Bit 1, 2, and 4 are user settable alarms for High Output Power, Low Output Power, and High
Reflected Power respectively. A High Reflected Power fault can also occur when the VSWR detec-
tion circuit trips.
2. Byte A, Bit 3, TWT Over Temp fault: This bit is set when the temperature on the collector of the TWT
exceeds the manufacturers safe operation specification. This is a non-latching fault. Upon detecting
a fault, the amplifier will shut off the High Voltage to the tube. The TWT temperature will cool down
until safe to operate again; the High Voltage will be automatically turned back up.
3. Byte A, Bit 2 Cathode Over Voltage fault: This bit is set when the Cathode voltage applied to the
TWT exceeds the safe operation threshold. This is a latching fault that has to be reset with the reset
command.
4. Byte B, Bit 5 Cathode Under Voltage fault. This bit is set when the Cathode voltage applied to the
TWT is below a safe operation threshold. This is a latching fault that has to be reset with the reset
command.
