Maintenance Procedures
Lower Deck
Perform the following procedure to remove, inspect, and clean
the Lower Deck Cover.
1 Turn the Power Amplifier OFF.
2. Disconnect the Prime Power.
3. Remove and retain the self-locking screws. Refer to the appendix
titled
Mechanical Drawings
.
4. Remove the Lower Deck Cover and disconnect the cable from the
cover’s EMI Filter.
5. Using high pressure air blow the any accumulated dirt and debris
out of the Lower Deck Cover.
6. Check the integrity of the electrical connections.
To replace the Lower Deck Cover reverse this procedure
beginning with step 4.
Battery Disposal Instructions
Caution
Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of
used batteries according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Failure to
comply could result in equipment damage.
General Information
Replacement battery part number: 490-0008-001
Disposal of spent batteries should be performed by an
authorized, professional disposal company which has the
knowledge of the requirements of the Federal, the State and
Local authorities regarding hazardous materials, transportation
and waste disposal. It is recommended that you contact your
local EPA office.

91/157/EEC and 93/86/EEC. These directives are implemented
