“.” - A period indicates that the modulator or demodulator is reporting status normal.
•
F - Indicates that the modulator or demodulator is reporting failure status.
•
? - Indicates that the status monitor for a channel on the DDS20 is either missing or
malfunctioning. If this symbol appears on one channel, check to see that the Data Switch Module
is inserted correctly for that channel. If this symbol appears on all the channels, verify the cable
connection between the DDS20 and the RCU20.
IMPORTANT
When a channel is configured for linked switching, either a modulator fault or a
demodulator fault will report both modulator and demodulator faults to the RCU20.

EVENTS
This screen displays the stored events due to manual or automatic backups on the RCS20. Detailed
descriptions of the causes of failed backups are also stored. Events are stored and sorted by the time and
date of the action causing the event to be stored. The earliest event will be the first stored event, and the
latest event will be the last stored event. One event is displayed at a time with the time and date of the
event and the total number of stored events. Events are automatically cleared by cycling power on the
RCS20.
