Configuring the Backup Agent
3. Click Next to display the Account Configuration setup dialog.
4. Enter the information for the mailbox. At this time, you can also specify the
port number and number of blocks in each data transfer you want to use
when TCP/IP is selected as the remote backup/restore protocol. Each data
block is 64 KB. If you want to change the port number, see the section
“Configuring the Port Address for the Backup Agent” in the “Introduction”
chapter of this guide.
5. Click Finish. If you checked the Create a NEW account to use with the
Exchange Brick Level Backup box, the following dialog displays.
Click Yes to continue.
If your Backup Agent Service Account is not configured correctly, a message
appears to inform you. If this occurs, the setup program allows you to use
only the database backup. You cannot perform mailbox level backups with
MAPI.
If you have configured your account correctly, the entire Backup Agent is
configured.
6. Click OK to complete the configuration.
