3.e. Set 8’ ladder in the hole, and let it lean back in the whole while you install the horizontal ladder.
3.f. Before starting this step be sure that the adjustable slleves are in the correct position. Take the
horizontal ladder and sleeve it onto the adjustable sleeves of the 8’ ladder. Once sleeved onto 8’
ladder, have person in place #1 take the 8’ ladder that is leaning in the hole and bring it forward to
sleeve it into horizontal ladder. While the person in place #2 stablizes the horizontal ladder. (Have a
hammer handy in case the adjustable sleeves need to be tapped into proper position)
Have 2 people stand and support
ladder in places marked below.
Sleeve horizontal ladder onto
to adjustable sleeves on 10’
ladder.
