2.2.6 Notification Area (System Tray)
The icons in this area allow quick access to programs and computer
functions, including the clock and printer status. Windows XP hides icons
that are not used frequently. Click
to see hidden icons.
To prevent Windows XP from hiding icons:
Right-click an empty spot on the
Taskbar > Properties
. Uncheck the
Hide
inactive icons
option.
2.2.7 Recycle Bin
When you delete a file, it is moved to the
Recycle Bin
. Files can
be restored from the
Recycle Bin
. Emptying the
Recycle Bin
deletes files
permanently.
