5.9 Field Termination

Use the following procedure referring to

for an example of correct cable routing in the

EPX panel.

1. Insert adapter pack into opening provided in bulkhead, oriented so that adapters pass through

opening first. Refer to

Section 5.5 on Page 16

.

2. After connectorization, route buffered fibers from cable toward front of tray.

3. Terminate connector end of pigtails into module adapter openings in standard sequence.

4. Spool excess fiber slack length.

5. Repeat items 1-4 for all remaining locations.
