The solar shop light is shipped with batteries preinstalled.
□
Select a location with full and direct sunlight. If installed in a shady area, the battery may not fully charge, resulting in the reduction of
working hours.
□
Before using the solar shop light, charge the batteries to full capacity after placing solar panel at a selected location. This initial charge
should be done with the shop light connected and in the OFF position. The batteries will reach full charge after two full days of sunlight.
□
Wipe the panel every few months to remove dust or debris that might affect the solar charge efficiency.
□
Before starting any installation, test the shop light for illumination.
- Push the POWER button on the shop light to turn ON light.
- The shop light should illuminate.
- If no light appears, cover the light sensor at the opposite end of the shop light to prevent light penetration.
- If the light does not illuminate, examine the battery compartment to ensure that the batteries are properly positioned. This can be
done by following battery replacement instructions on page 9.
