Encryption (MPPE): Select ON / OFF to encrypt or not
the data which are traveling inside the tunnel.

Operation: Select Start/Stop in the pop-up to activate or
disable
this
function.
Click on the « Apply » button to validate the parameters.
VPN PPTP Account section:
For each remote use, you enable to connect to your LAN, you
need to specify:

VPN account: user login for the VPN access.
■
VPN Password: password for the VPN access.
■
Assign IP address: LAN IP address assigned to the remote
user inside your network.
NOTE / Please make sure that the IP address assigned to the
remote user is free and not allocated by the DHCP or any
computer using a static IP address.
NOTE / On your Windows XP, you can directly configure the
PPTP VPN client for Windows in your network favorites.
Each client VPN listed can be deleted by click on the « Del »
check box on the user line, then click on the « Del » button
located in the title of the column.
If you want to disconnect a VPN running session, you can click
on the « Disconn. » button.
