4.3.4.2 RF INFORMATION
As in “Common Info.”, all the RF information in general will be displayed in the right part of the main
screen when clicking on each [RF Info.] node in [Equipment Information Tree] area. User can read
and/or set the parameter values in each interface. For example, select [Alarm Threshold], user can set
threshold for the relevant parameters. Refer to Reference 0.6.3 OMT v3.20 Software Product Manual
for RF parameter configuration information.
There are nine separate interfaces in [RF Info.] group.
Node Name
Description
[Switch]
Switch on/off is to enable/disable the PA output
[Pre-ATT]
The purpose of adjusting the Pre-ATT is to avoid BTS input power exceeding the
power range, thus ensuring good call quality
[Alarm Threshold]
Customers can set alarm threshold according to situation, such as VSWR
threshold, PA Over-temperature threshold and Power threshold
[Power]
Includes Downlink Output Over Low threshold, Uplink Output Power Low threshold
[Gain]
Include Max Gain, Uplink Calculated Gain and Downlink Actual Gain
[Temperature]
Only available for RRU. A measured temperature is shown.
Parameters Power, Gain and Temperature are for read-only.
All the RF parameters included in each node of the [RF Info.] are separated into three groups for
presenting the RF information of each frequency band as GSM, DCS and WCDMA. And for ROU
commissioning on the RRU end, all the RF parameters will be separated for specifying the RF
information for both ROU and RRU. ROU specific information will be identified as “EOU” on the OMT
screenshot.
Refer to Reference 0.6.3 OMT v3.20 Software Product Manual for the specific description of other RF
Information.
