INSTALLATION GUIDE FOR RA-5200

ENU Status : 1-0-0 

 

 

 

Depending on customer’s requirement on wireless or wireline modem to be integrated, there are two 

options for MCU slid-in unit shown as below: 

 

MCU unit 

 

The MOU is controlled and monitored with this unit. The operation status 

and  local  connection  to  PC  is  realized  on  this  module.  The 

wireless/wireline modem is integrated within this unit. 

FSK  

Green  LED  to  indicate  the  communication  status 

(FSK  Modem)  between  MOU  and  RRU.  This  LED 

flashes  every  two  seconds  to  indicate  normal 

communication status. “OFF” to indicate an alarm is 

generated. 

ALARM 

RED LED to indicate the alarming condition of MOU. 

‘OFF’  for  normal  operation,  and  ‘ON’  indicates  that 

an alarm is generated. 

RUN 

Green LED to indicate system operation status. This 

LED  flashes  every  one  second  to  indicate  system 

self-checking completes and system commissioning 

can be started with. 

Ethernet 

RJ-45  connector  for  the  option  of  local 

commissioning through Ethernet  

USB 

USB connector for the option of local commissioning 

through USB 

RS-232 

DB-9 connector for OMT PC connection to the MOU 

by using the cable supplied. 

BTS-ALM 

DB-9  connector  for  BTS  alarm  port  to  realize  the 

control & monitoring of RA-5200 at BTS. (option)  

 

wireless modem 

integrated 

MODEM 

SMA connector for wireless modem RF signal to the 

“MODEM” port of the Main Unit. 

FSK  

Green  LED  to  indicate  the  communication  status 

(FSK  Modem)  between  MOU  and  RRU.  This  LED 

flashes  every  two  seconds  to  indicate  normal 

communication  status.  “OFF”  indicates  an  alarm  is 

generated. 

ALARM 

RED LED to indicate alarm condition of MOU. ‘OFF’ 

for  normal  operation,  and  ‘ON’  indicates  that  an 

alarm is generated. 

RUN 

Green LED to indicate system operation status. This 

LED  flashes  every  one  second  to  indicate  system 

self-check  completed  and  system  commissioning 

can proceed. 

PSTN 

RJ-45 connector for wireline connection (option) 

RS-232 

DB-9 connector for OMT PC connection to the MOU 

using the supplied cable. 

 

 

Wirline modem

BTS-ALM 

DB-9 connector for BTS alarm notification.
