3.5.9 MOU SHELF INTERNAL CONNECTION
Information in this section is provided for trained personnel, it is expected the MOU shelf is pre-
configured and tested prior to shipment, and access to the rear of the MOU shelf is not normally
required.
The rear of the MOU shelf is protected by a screwed down back-cover, with the back-cover removed,
the backplane and RF connections exposed. Operating the equipment without the MOU back-cover
fitted is not recommended.
RF Connection between RFU and FOU Units
The fibre below presents the MOU fully equipped with two Double Channel FOUs. The FOU ports
labelled “RX” and “TX” are jumpered to the respective ports labelled “RX” on RFU_UL unit and “TX”
on RFU_DL unit. A total of eight SMA-SMA jumpers exist.
