CLEANING THE SUCTION HOSE
Whenever suction seems to be unsatisfactory, check that the suction tube is not obstructed. If necessary
clean with a jet of water as follows:
1.
Connect the electric system connector to the battery connector (for battery versions) or to the
generator connector (for versions with a combustion engine)
2.
Turn the key switch to the “1” position
3.
Turn the I-DRIVE selector to the “Transfer” position. Both the base and the squeegee rise and after a
few seconds the suction motor will turn off.
4.
Turn the key switch to the “0” position and remove the key from the instrument panel
5.
Engage the parking brake by means of its lever (1)
6.
Disconnect the electric system connector from the battery connector (for battery versions) or from the
generator connector (for versions with a combustion engine)
7.
Release the clamp (2) and pull on the handle (3) to remove the debris hopper. Place it on the ground
WARNING: Before carrying out any type of maintenance, remove the keys
from the panel and disconnect the battery connector (for battery versions) or
from the generator connector (for versions with a combustion engine).
WARNING: This operation must be carried out using gloves to protect against
contact with dangerous solutions.
8.
Disconnect the suction hose from the squeegee nozzle (4)
9.
Disconnect the suction hose from the holder (5) at the rear of the recovery tank
10.
Clean the hose with a jet of fresh water entering from the end where it is inserted into the holder at the
rear of the recovery tank
11.
Refit all the parts

CLEANING THE RECOVERY TANK
Proceed as follows for cleaning:
1.
Check the electric system connector is disconnected from the battery connector (for battery versions)
or from the generator connector (for versions with a combustion engine)
2.
Make sure the main switch is in the "0" position. If it is not, turn the key a quarter turn to the left
3.
Check the parking brake is engaged. If it is not, engage it by means of the lever (1)
4.
Check the recovery tank is empty (if necessary, empty it)
5.
Check the recovery tank drainage tube (2) is firmly attached to the machine, and that the cap is closed
6.
Unscrew the recovery tank drain hose cap (3) at the rear of the machine
