MAINTENANCE AND DISPOSAL OF THE COMBUSTION ENGINE
WARNING: For the maintenance and disposal of the combustion engine, observe
the instructions given by the engine manufacturer (for maintenance) and current
environmental hygiene norms (for disposal).

MAINTENANCE AND DISPOSAL OF THE LPG CYLINDER
WARNING: For the maintenance and disposal of the LPG cylinder, observe the
instructions given by the cylinder manufacturer (for maintenance) and current
environmental hygiene norms (for disposal).
15.
HANDLING AND INSERTING THE BATTERIES (BATTERY VERSION)
The batteries must be housed in the special compartment beneath the seat mounting plate. They should be
handled using lifting equipment that is suitable in terms of both weight and method of lifting. They must also
satisfy the requirements of Standard CEI 21-5. The dimensions of the battery compartment are: 879 mm x
599 mm x H450 mm.
WARNING: For battery maintenance and daily recharging, you must carefully
follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer or retailer. All installation
and maintenance operations must be carried out by specialised personnel.
To insert batteries proceed as follows:
1.
Immobilise the machine with the parking brake
2.
Make sure the main machine switch is in the “0” position
3.
Use a suitable tool to remove the right-hand carter (1) by unscrewing the nuts (2)
WARNING: You are advised to use airtight batteries only, to avoid the leakage
of acids!
WARNING: You are advised to always wear protective gloves, to avoid the
risk of serious injury to your hands.
4.
Disconnect the quick release coupling (3) located behind the side cover, to prevent damage to the
coupling itself (CDS version)
