The safety valve must be tested every 250 working hours of the compressor.
To check the safety valve:
- set the pressure to a pressure higher than that of the valve setting;
- after attaching the coupling to the bottle start the compressor with the
bottle valves closed;
- once you have checked, using the gauge, that the safety valve trips
properly at maximum working pressure.
The use and maintenance manual and its appendices must be stored
carefully and must always be kept where they can be accessed easily for
immediate consultation.
WARNING: The use and maintenance manual is an integral
part of the compressor and must always be handed over in
the event of a change of ownership.
6.2.4 Storing technical documentation
DANGER:
Tampering with the safety valve to increase the pressure
setting is strictly forbidden.
Tampering with the safety valve can seriously damage the
compressor, cause serious injury to personnel and renders
the warranty null and void.
Should the safety valve fail to work properly contact the
AEROTECNICA COLTRI assistance service.
The final safety valve protects bottles and the compressor by excessive
pressure; the valve setting is made at the time of testing the compressor.
The safety valve are pre-adjusted to:

IMPORTANT: The safety valves must be replaced every 5 years
or 3000 hours.

La válvula de seguridad debe comprobase cada 250 horas de
funcionamiento del compresor.
Para comprobar la válvula de seguridad:
- ajuste el presóstato a una presión mayor que la del ajuste de la válvula;
- después de haber montado la conexión en la botella ponga en marcha el
compresor con la llave de la botella cerrada;
- tras comprobar la correcta puesta en marcha de la válvula de seguridad
a la presión máxima de uso con el manómetro.
El manual de uso y mantenimiento y sus anexos, deben guardarse
atentamente, manteniéndolos siempre al alcance de la mano para que
puedan ser consultados rápidamente por el operador.
ATENCIÓN: El manual de uso y mantenimiento es parte
integrante del compresor, por lo tanto debe entregarse al
nuevo usuario en caso de cambios de propiedad.
6.2.4 Cómo guardar la documentación técnica
PELIGRO:
No se permite, bajo ningún motivo, intervenir sobre la válvula
de seguridad para aumentar la presión de calibrado. La
intervención sobre las válvulas de seguridad puede provocar
graves daños al compresor o al operador y la anulación de la
garantía.
Caso que se produzcan anomalías relacionadas con el no-
funcionamiento de la válvula de seguridad póngase en contacto
con el servicio de asistencia técnica AEROTECNICA COLTRI.
La válvula de seguridad final protege a las botellas y el compresor contra una
presión excesiva. Dicha válvula ha sido calibrada en la sede de la prueba de
ensayo del compresor.
Las válvulas están pre-calibradas a la presión de:
