5.4.5.1 Energy Meter Type
This selection is the main part of the Energy menu, where when choosing the type of Energy
Meter, all the energy consumption information registered in the corresponding period is displayed
under it.
There are 4 Meter options to select, depending on the period that each one registers:
-
DAILY
- Consumption of the last 24 hours
- It is updated every hour
-
WEEKLY
- Consumption of the last 7 days
- It is updated every day at 00:00
-
MONTHLY
- Consumption of the last 30 days
- It is updated every day at 00:00
-
TOTAL
- Total consumption registered,
up to 10 years
- It is updated every day at 00:00
To change the type of meter, it is done with the
q
and
p
symbols on the sides, with the same cor-
responding keys, changing at the moment the consumption information registered by each one:
The default meter is the Daily Meter. If you want to leave a different meter as the default, you will
have to touch the
OK
key again when we have it selected. It will be saved to be displayed the next
time the menu is entered.
The displayed information of the energy consumption of the COSMOS emitter registered by each
type of meter consists of the following parts:
-
Registered Period
: Number of hours or days (according to the meter) that it has registered
-
Consumed Energy:
Measure of energy consumed in the registered period, in kWh
-
ESTIMATED Cost:
Cost estimated and calculated on the consumed energy, based on the
rate applied and configured (read next section)
When the emitter is disconnected from the mains, even if there is no energy consumption (0 kWh),
the period of each meter will continue to be counted, increasing if it has not reached its limit, and
updating its last values if it had already reached its total period.
If the button cell battery runs out (and until it is replaced), when the power supply is disconnected,
the meters will stop, until the emitter is powered up again, without losing the registered values of
each meter.
Note: the Application will only be able to correctly register the energy consumption that the
COSMOS emitter sends every hour while there are no periods > 1 hour without Wifi connectivity.
5.4.5.2 Rate
This menu must be initially configured to calculate the estimated cost of the electric emitter’s en
-
ergy consumption. There are 2 types of rates depending on the time frame:
Reduced Rate
-> Default price: 0.100 €/kWh
-> It is applied in its configured Period
Standard Rate
-> Default price: 0.150 €/kWh
-> It is applied the rest of the day
