Changing the blade
1. Hold in the spindle lock (16) to prevent
the blade rotating.
2. Remove the blade bolt (5) by turning
it anti clockwise using the included
Allen key (21).
3. Lift up and hold the lower
blade guard using
the retracting handle (3).
4. Remove the flange washer
(11) and then the saw blade.
Note:
There is a loose
washer under the saw blade,
be careful not to lose it when
removing the blade.
5. Attach the new blade in the reverse order. Make sure that it rotates in the right direction.
Note:
Make sure that the blade is centred and fitted correctly. Make sure that
the blade bolt is tight before switching the saw on.
Care and maintenance
• Always unplug the saw before making any adjustments or repairs.
• Clean the product using a lightly moistened cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents,
never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• Keep the motor ventilation openings free from contaminants.
• If the circular saw is not to be used for an extended period, it should be unplugged
and stored in a dry and dust-free location out of reach of children.
• If the mains lead is damaged in any way it must be replaced by a qualified electrician.
