INSTALLATION

2.1 Installing the Control Batteries 

a. 

Remove the battery cover 

b. 

Install the 6 included AA batteries into the back 

of the remote control, taking note of the polarity 

positions indicated

c. 

Replace the cover

2.2 Charging the Sky Scanner HD Quadcopter Battery

a. 

Connect the rechargeable battery to the 

Balance Charger

b. 

Connect the Power Adaptor to the Balance 

Charger

c. 

Plug the Power Adaptor into a mains outlet 

and turn the power on

d. 

Charge for 3 hours on first charge and then remove the battery 

2.3 Installing the Propellers

a. 

Placed the propellers labelled A1 and B1 on the corresponding Sky Scanner rods 

labelled A or B

IMPORTANT NOTE:

 If you do not place the correct letter propeller on the corresponding letter rod, your 

quadcopter will not fly correctly. There is no difference between the A1/A2 or B1/B2 propellers, the number 

is for reference only

b. 

Place the white plastic cap through each rod as 

indicated in the diagram (upside down)

c. 

Place a pin through the hole of each metal rod

d. 

Pull the white cap upwards so the pin is sitting in the 

cavity of the white cap 

e. 

Twist the cap till you hear a ‘click’ to ensure the pin is 

locked and secured into the groove of the white cap

f. 

Place the silver cap onto the metal rod and push down 

while turning clockwise to secure
