OPERATION

Battery/Power Saver

If there are no transmissions within ten (10) seconds, the unit will
automatically switch to Battery Save Mode and POWER SAVER will
appear on the display. This will not affect the unit’s ability to receive
incoming transmissions.

Power/Transmit-Receive Indicators

The POWER/TRANSMIT-RECEIVE INDICATOR flashes every three (3)
seconds to indicate that the radio is On.
While transmitting, the POWER/TRANSMIT-RECEIVE INDICATOR will
stay on steady and the rings of the
TRANSMIT/RECEIVE ICON will be displayed.
While receiving a transmission, the
POWER/TRANSMIT-RECEIVE INDICATOR will flash
rapidly and the lightning bolts of the
TRANSMIT/RECEIVE ICON will be displayed.
