Operation
If a DSC session is put on HOLD it is automatically put in the background
(VHF communication display appears on the previous communication
channel).
The soft key is used to toggle between the VHF communication and a
DSC session on hold.
The DSC session on hold can receive calls that are pertinent to the session,
even when the session is not displayed. If the background receives updates
the icon
is shown.
Example:
An individual call request has
been sent. While waiting for the
acknowledgement of the call,
communication is engaged on
VHF (press the soft key
HOLD
on
the DSC session view). The
acknowledgement is received
from the called station (the
icon
is shown). Press the soft key and
ACTIVE
to
engage in the DSC initiated communication.
