Upon Starting
Voltage
regulator does
not work
1. Check if the voltage regulator frontal panel is on.
2. Check if the key located on the voltage regulator
frontal part is in the off position.
3. Check if the voltage regulator internal circuit
breaker is on.
4. Also check the input circuit breaker on the Power
Board.
5. Check if there are other loads off such as the air
conditioner circuit.
6. If there are previous panels, also check them until
you reach the main power panel.
Upon Starting
The circuit
breaker from
the panel trips
when the
voltage
regulator is
triggered
1. Check whether there is any shorted equipment in
the voltage regulator output.
2. Check if the load is not being turned on incorrectly
(all the load at once, through one general circuit
breaker, for instance).
3. Check whether there is short circuit in the voltage
regulator output cables.
4. Check if the voltage regulator fuse is not burnt.
5. Check if the circuit breaker that feeds the voltage
regulator is of the same type as the one described
in the Circuit Breaker Table, specified by the CM
Linear Command Engineering Department.

1. Check the circuit breaker from the Distribution

2. Check if other pieces of equipment also present
the same problems.
3. Check the equipment power cable.
4. Try turning the computer on in another jack.
5. Check whether there is bad contact in the voltage
regulator output cables.
