7 Maintenance
The machine/attachment is designed to require as little maintenance and care as possible. However, the following
rules must be observed to ensure proper operation of the implement.
7.1 General
Attention:
Always carry out maintenance work with the drive and motor switched off!
Remove ignition key!
Secure the tractor and machine against unintentional movements (e.g. rolling away, lowering,
etc.).
Observe the relevant accident prevention regulations and all other information given in the
operating instructions!
Only use original spare parts!
If the device must be lifted for mounting and dismounting as well as for maintenance and repair work, sufficiently
dimensioned and undamaged hoisting gear must be used. Cranes and similar lifting equipment must have
sufficient lifting capacity and must not show any damage to safety equipment. Lifting equipment may only be
operated by instructed or trained personnel.
It is prohibited to stay under suspended loads.
After the first 5 hours of operation all screw connections must be checked for tightness, then every 20
hours.
When cleaning with a high-pressure cleaner, make sure that the high-pressure jet is not directed at bearing and
sealing points or hydraulic connections. This can lead to damage and premature failure.
The hosing must be replaced by a specialist workshop at least every five years or if damaged.
Hydraulic and electrical components must be checked for damage and replaced if necessary.
Fractures, cracks and other significant damage to the machine/attachment must be repaired by a specialist
workshop.
7.2 Hydraulic oil and oil filter
A clean hydraulic oil is indispensable for a long service life of the hydraulic components. The hydraulic oil should
therefore be filtered through a filter at one point in the tractor's hydraulic system. It is also advisable to replace all
the hydraulic oil at regular intervals.
