• If the red indicator is visible on the Release Handle, the Carrier is
NOT securely attached to the Base.
Step 13
Secure Carrier onto Base:
• Lower Carrier onto Base and push down on each
side of the Carrier to connect it to the Base as
shown in
Figure 68
. The red area on the side of
the Release Handle will completely disappear
when the Carrier is securely attached. If the
red area is visible, the Carrier is NOT properly
secured.
Lift up on Carry Handle to ensure Carrier is securely
installed on the Base.
NOTE:
If Carrier will not securely connect to the
Base, you may still use this car seat without the Base.
