If you are still unable to shift Carrier so that blue
Reference Line is parallel to the ground, remove the
vehicle shoulder belt from around the back of the Carrier
and let it retract into a position against the front of the
vehicle seat back as shown in
Figure 79
and shift the
Carrier so that the blue Reference Line is parallel to the
ground, or move to another seating position.
If installing with an inflatable vehicle belt:
• DO NOT wrap shoulder belt around back of Carrier.
Let the shoulder belt retract into a position against the
front of the vehicle seat back as shown in
Figure 79
.
Step 9
Tighten Vehicle Belt to secure the Carrier.
If installing with lap/shoulder belt:
•
Use your body to push and wiggle the Carrier into the
vehicle seat back while pulling shoulder belt to remove
all slack, as shown in
Figure 80
