Instruction Manual Storage
After carefully reading and following these instructions,
keep this manual for future use and store in the compartment
located in Shoulder Harness Access Panel, as shown in
Figure 143
.
Aircraft Installation
Clek strongly recommends that children are secured in their child seat during airline travel.
FORWARD-FACING
To install this car seat in an aircraft Forward-Facing, follow the instructions for installing the car
seat with a lap belt in the “Installing Forward-Facing Car Seat With Vehicle Belt” on page 66.
IMPORTANT:
Aircraft are not equipped with top tether anchors. The Top Tether should be
stored in the back of the car seat and not used on an aircraft, see “Top Tether Storage” on
page 89.
REAR-FACING
To install this car seat in an aircraft Rear-Facing, follow the instructions for installing the car
seat with a lap belt in the “Installing Rear-Facing Car Seat With Vehicle Belt” on
page 46.
IMPORTANT:
The Rear-Facing Base and Anti-Rebound Bar must be used when installing this
car seat Rear-Facing in
an aircraft.
NOTE:
If it is necessary to check your seat, it must be packed in a Clek Weelee Travel Bag
(sold separately). Damage may result from checking your seat without proper packaging.
