If installing forward-facing
without the Top Tether, choose one of

SHOULDER HARNESS UNTHREADING
Step 1
Unbuckle Harness and separate Chest Clip.
Step 2
Loosen Harness to largest size:
• While lifting up on Harness Adjuster
Tab, pull out on Shoulder Harness Straps
until they stop as shown in
Figure 32
.
Step 3
Remove Tether Hook from its storage location
on back of car seat. See “Top Tether
Storage” on page 89.
