7.  Moving outward in both directions, continue attaching  

fabric clips to secure the end panel to the rafter. 

Evenly 

space the fabric clips and work toward the ground

. 

 

ATTENTION:

 For each end panel, evenly space the 

fabric clips as you work down from the top of the rafter. 

Fabric clips are installed on the backside of the rafter to 

prevent damage to the main cover when it is installed. 

Actual number of clips may differ from what is shown in 

the diagram that follows

. 

ATTACH END PANELS (CONTINUED)

Do not

 drive the Tek screws through the straps the 

stretch the main cover from end-to-end. This will allow 

the main cover to be re-stretched if needed without 

loosening the end panel clips.

8.  Verify that the end panel is in the desired position and 

repeat the steps to secure the other end panel to the 

frame using the remaining half of the fabric clips. 

 

NOTE:

 The end panels may be shipped as untrimmed 

rectangular pieces. If so, use scissors to trim the 

excess end panel material from inside the frame after 

attaching the panels to the end rafters. 

9.  Once the end panels are secure, attach the end 

ratchets.

ATTACH END RATCHETS

The end ratchets are used to secure the bonnet portion of 

the main cover. These are attached after the end panels 

are installed. 

 

Gather the parts:
•  Small ratchet (#QH1061)
•  Tek screws (#FA4482)

 

Complete the following steps to locate and secure the 

ratchets to the end rafter legs.
1.  Locate one (1) QH1061 ratchet and attach it to the 

outside of a end rafter using a Tek screw as shown 

below. 

 

Main cover and end panel have been removed to better 

show the ratchet location.

 Ratchet is aligned with the 

strap in the bonnet of the main cover.

2.  Repeat the step to install the ratchet for the remaining 

side of the first end panel and for the remaining end 

panel as described.

3.  With all end ratchets secured to the end rafter legs, pull 

the main cover bonnet over the end rafters and into 

position.

4.  Thread the bonnet straps of the main cover into the end 

ratchets and tighten slightly. Repeat for the remaining 

bonnet straps.

5.  Once all four end ratchets are attached and the bonnet 

strap is slightly tightened, return to the side ratchets of 

the main cover and tighten.
