4. Continue cutting along the top of the frame tube
toward the outside of the greenhouse in each
direction until the marks for the rough door opening
are found. These, too, were previously marked.
5. Using the End Wall Diagram as a guide, select the
square tube for the first vertical frame support for the
end wall frame. Depending on length, each frame
support includes the following:
•
Square tubing (cut to length if needed).
•
One (1) 104624 square tube fitting to attach the
support to the bottom frame member of the end
wall assembly.
•
One (1) 104074 square to round tube bracket
6. At the clamp positioned on the rafter, measure the
distance between the top of the bottom frame
member and band clamp to determine the length of
the first vertical end wall frame tube.
7. On the vertical frame tube, mark the length
determined in Step 6 (above) and
subtract 1 3/4" to
account for the 104074 square to round tube
bracket
, which is attached to the top of the frame
tube (shown below and on the End Wall Diagram).
8. Select a 104074 square to round tube bracket and
attach the bracket to one end of the vertical frame
member. Use a 5/16" drill bit to drill a hole through
the tube and attach the bracket to the tube using a
nut and carriage bolt.
9. With the 104074 square to round tube bracket
attached to the top of the frame member (above),
attach the frame member to the band clamp on the
rafter.
Do not tighten at this time.
10. Verify that the vertical end wall frame tube is plumb
and align the bottom of the frame tube with the mark
for the rough door opening.
11. Using Tek screws (FA4482) and a QH1330 bracket,
secure the bottom of the tube to the bottom end wall
frame tube as shown in the next diagram.
NOTE:
Push the end panel material out of the way to
attach the bracket as shown if needed.
12. Once the bottom is attached and the frame tube is
plumb, tighten the top band clamp.
13. Repeat the procedure as needed to assemble and
install the remaining vertical end wall support for the
pedestrian door.
NOTE:
Verify that the vertical frame members are plumb
and in the correct position, and tighten the band clamps
