Before Initial Use
CAUTION!
• Danger of suffocation! Keep the packaging material away from children and animals.
1. Unpack all parts and check the items supplied for completeness (see the "Items
Supplied and Device Overview" chapter) and transport damage. Comment: Note
that two nozzles may be placed inside each other. If you
fi
nd any damage to the
components, do not use them (!); instead, contact our customer service department.
Please note: Residues in the dust container are caused by quality checks per-
formed on the device!
2. Remove any
fi
lms or stickers that may be present from the device and accessories.
3. Charge up the battery (see the "Charging Up the Battery" chapter).
Charging Up the Battery
CAUTION!
• Risk of short-circuits! Do not insert any conducting objects (e.g. screwdrivers or sim-
ilar items) into the charging socket of the motor unit.
• The battery may only be charged using the charger which is supplied with the device.
Do not use the charger to charge up other batteries.
• Remove the mains plug of the charger from the plug socket if you are not using it.
• Charge up the battery fully before you
fi
rst use the device in order to achieve the
maximum charging capacity. It takes approx. 3-4 hours for the device to charge up.
1. First attach the charger to the connecting socket of the motor unit. The connecting
socket is located on the back of the motor unit.
2. Then connect the charger to a properly installed and easily accessible plug socket.
3. Allow the battery of the device to charge up for around 3-4 hours.
4. Disconnect the charger from the mains power and then from the device. Store it out
of the reach of children.
