❐
The steam cleaner should be used exclusively with the cleaning cloths specially man-
ufactured for it.
❐
When cleaning, make sure that the
fl
oor cleaning cloth is
fi
rmly attached to the clean-
ing head to prevent damages to the device or
fl
ooring.
❐
Never point the steam towards people, animals, plants or equipment containing elec-
tric components (e.g. inside of ovens, refrigerators, switches and lights, microwave
devices etc.).
❐
Caution – Risk of breakage!
Never clean cold glass panes (e.g. window panes in win-
ter) with hot steam. The large temperature difference could cause the glass to rupture!
❐
Always test the device on a small, inconspicuous area
fi
rst.
❐
Attention – Scalding hazard!
Never touch the cleaning head or one of the device's
accessory adapters while in operation!
❐
The
fl
oor cleaning cloth, the cushion cleaning cloth, the cleaning head and the accessory
adapters may still be very hot directly after use. If you want to remove a cleaning cloth or
an adapter, wait until all parts have cooled off and the device no longer emits any steam.
❐
Always allow the device to cool off completely and empty the water tank before you
stow the device.
What to keep in mind before use
• Please keep in mind that the water residue in the water tank is attributed to testing
of the device.
• The
fi
rst time you use the device or if you have not used the device for a prolonged
period of time, it may take some time for steam to be produced after being turned on
since the lines in the device have not yet
fi
lled with water. Steam can only be emitted
once the device has reached its operating temperature and the corresponding device
parts have
fi
lled with water. For this, press down the steam trigger several times.
